Welcome to TalkAboutCool.com … where you can easily get Lost in the ‘50s and stroll down memory lane into the ‘60s. This website is designed to let you choose from the hundreds of products featured in our retail store, Lost in the 50’s, and our wholesale warehouse in North Augusta, S.C.

While this is a full time business for us (and has been for more than 40 years), the Lost in the 50’s retail store was born out of the owner’s love for nostalgia. What started as a personal collection of Coca Cola items, old drugstore signs, showcases and other items from the glorious ‘50s and ‘60s has evolved into not only a passion, but a booming business.

We offer an extensive array of collectibles. Some old familiar favorites include licensed products from Coca-Cola, John Deere, Harley Davidson, NASCAR, Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, I Love Lucy, Betty Boop, Three Stooges, Route 66, plus many more! These items include realistic street signs, neon wall clocks, neon pictures, license plates, hats, mugs, salt/pepper shakers, pens, magnets, metal wall signs, CD holders, bean bag animals, ornaments, phones, drivers license, tins, diecast cars/trucks/airplanes etc. We like to think we preserve the memories of days gone by while creating new memories that stand the test of time.

Our buyers are constantly on the lookout for new and exciting reproduction items representing those special years in our country’s history. Talk about cool? The term was invented by the teenagers of the ‘50s and ‘60s.

If you’re ever traveling through South Carolina, we invite you to visit us. We’re a mile and a half off Interstate 20 on U.S. Hwy 25. If you do visit, your Lost in the 50’s experience will begin when you are greeted by life-size cutouts of James Dean, Marilyn Monroe and Elvis. As you pass through our front door, you are quickly returned to a quieter, simpler time as you browse through hundreds of items … most of which you can find here in our online store.
